The size chart for the product you selected is based on Chinese sizing standards. Due to significant differences in body shapes across countries and regions, the measurements corresponding to sizes S, M, L, and XL in Chinese sizing may vary from those in European or American sizing systems. If you purchase according to your usual size, there may be fitting issues. Therefore, we recommend focusing less on the size guide (S/M/L/XL) and instead referring to the specific detailed measurements in cm provided on the product details page to select the size that best fits you.
The fabric has been pre-shrunk, so the shrinkage rate is much lower than that of greige fabric. However, there is still some shrinkage. After washing, the inseam is expected to shrink by about 4–6 cm, and the waist by about 3–4 cm. The waist will stretch back to near its pre-wash measurement with wear fairly quickly, but the inseam will not. When choosing a size, just make sure the waist fits comfortably before washing – not too tight. Pay special attention to the shrinkage of the inseam.

The Saucezhan Spirits of Nature series, first launched in late 2013(see below), was one of the brand's earliest designs and a pioneering product in the early days of double-dyed jeans in China. The series was very popular among fans at the time, and after selling out, I never restocked it-despite receiving countless inquiries from customers.
In 2021, after launching our original fabric development project, we invested heavily in research to upgrade our in-house fabrics. This led to upgraded versions of the Ocean, Fire, Forest, and Desert series. The Ocean series received a standalone product redesign, with a leather patch that looks significantly different from the original version.
The new fabric weighs in at a heavy 20.5oz—an extremely heavyweight double-dyed denim. It is dyed with pure indigo, with no sulfur black added, resulting in a cleaner, more vivid blue fade.
The new Heavyweight Ocean Series features the in-house 315XX Micro-Taper Fit, which has gained great popularity. Compared to the standard 315XX, the rise is about 2- 2.5 cm deeper, offering a comfortable fit with a slightly tapered leg opening. The zipper fly adds extra convenience.
The double-dyed fabric differs significantly from the original version in warp density and weaving structure(see image above). The original version showed more exposed base color due to the warp arrangement, while the new version reveals less, giving it a deeper, more understated look without being overly flashy. The weft is reactive-dyed.
All hardware and the leather patch have been completely redesigned. The back pockets feature hidden rivets for added durability. The result is a clean, vivid blue that develops a beautifully refined fade over time.
This is a raw denim style. The fabric has been pre-shrunk. The jeans will fade naturally with wear, developing a unique patina over time. They need to be soaked before wearing to remove the starch. If you're new to raw denim, please take a moment to understand what it is before purchasing. For heavyweight denim, we recommend a cold soak for 30 mins, then hand wash with gentle squeezing. If machine washing, turn them inside out—but note that even inside out, friction from the machine may cause unwanted fade marks. Washing them right-side out makes it even more likely. Such friction marks result from improper washing, not a defect in the product. Thank you for your understanding.
