This is an authentic raw denim jacket—made to fade.It requires an intial soak to remove starch,and will gradually fade and develop character with wear.If you're new to raw denim,please take the time to understand what it is before choosing.
Note:This jacket is constructed from three different fabrics,each with its own shrinkage characteristics.Although we have pre-shrunk the materials and done our best to ensure consistency,minor discrepancies may still occur—such as slight differences in sleeve length or alignment at the seams due to fabric tension and shrinkage.Please be aware that these are very subtle and not considered defects.
This is a third-model jacket constructed from three unique selvedge denim fabrics,each woven on antique looms.All three are original heavyweight denims developed by SauceZhan,with an average weight of approximately 20.5oz.Each fabric is indigo-dyed and will fade with wear,developing distinct raw denim character.However,due to differences in dye depth,layering,and fabric texture,the three fabrics will fade in noticeably different ways-though all will fade to shades of indigo.Please be aware of this.
This an authetic raw denim jacket.It has not been pre-rinsed,so an intial soak is required before wearing.The fabric has been pre-shrunk,so shrinkage is minimal-just choose a size that fits before washing.
The three fabrics are:
1.Heavyweight Volcano Fabric:Features red-dyed weft,with an extra-deep indigo on the face.This is the same fabric used in SauceZhan's Volcano jeans.
2.Heavyweight Yellow Rainbow Fabric:This fabric incorporates a yellow rainbow yarn from SauceZhan's 21oz series.Using a gradient colored weft technique,It takes on a unique yellowish-green hue.
3.New fabric developed exclusively for this jacket:To achieve a lighter color for contrast in the paneling,and since a raw jacket cannot be pre-washed to lighten a specific panel,we custom-developed a slub-heavy light-colored fabric.The coarse slub yarn arrangement creates a pronounced textured look and feel,both visually and to the touch.The distinct graininess of the thick slub yarns gives the jacket a full,substantial appearance and exceptional texture.
This heavyweight jacket features a classic third-model design,with sizing similar to our heavyweight Snake Year style.It has a relaxed fit for a more comfortable,less restrictive feel.As the raw denim fades with wear,each panel's different fabric will develop an even more unique fade.
