SAUCE ORIGIN independently developed the raw denim with colored slubs fabric, series code "Big White". Like the well-known selvedge denim, this fabric is also woven on the same antique shuttle looms, in its original loomstate 13.5oz weight. We altered the fabric style with our own original textile design: the warp yarn is not dyed with indigo but made from organic cotton in its natural unbleached tone, with colored fibers embedded into the yarn. This results in visible colored specks on both the face and back of the fabric—visible up close yet subtle from a distance—making it a rare and playful material. The cutting and stitching are clean and precise. It holds its own against Japanese denim brands in every aspect. Domestic products deserve to stand proud.

The word "ORIGIN" in the SAUCE ORIGIN brand signifies "beginning" or "source" (using "ORIGIN" as a trademark name reflects the idea of staying true to our original intentions and returning to the essence—it also expresses our desire to capture the feeling of jeans from the year they were first invented, creating authentic DENIM products).
Since we're talking about returning to the roots, we naturally can't stray from traditional craftsmanship. For SAUCE ORIGIN products, we use vintage sewing machines such as UNION SPECIAL, SINGER, and MERROW. These machines are older than I am—they're true collectible antiques. As a result, large-scale production is impossible, which is one reason why the brand's output will inevitably be very limited. We focus solely on creating refined pieces.
According to machine wash tests, the length shrinks by approximately 1-2 cm,
the chest measurement by 1-2 cm, and the shoulder width by 0.5-1 cm.
The above shrinkage measurements are for reference only.
Actual results may vary depending on individual washing methods.
We recommend gentle hand washing in cold water to minimize shrinkage.
Avoid machine washing altogether.
