The word "ORIGIN" in the SAUCE ORIGIN brand signifies "beginning" or "source" (using "ORIGIN" as a trademark reflects our commitment to staying true to our roots and returning to the essence of denim—it also embodies our pursuit of capturing the authenticity of jeans from the era they were first invented, creating genuine DENIM products).Since we emphasize returning to the origins, we naturally adhere to traditional craftsmanship. For SAUCE ORIGIN products, we extensively utilize nearly century-old vintage sewing machines such as UNION SPECIAL, SINGER, and MERROW. To ensure exceptional quality, the founder has collected dozens of antique sewing machines specialized for denim production—all older than themselves. These machines are true relics, making large-scale production impossible. This is one key reason why the brand's output remains extremely limited, focusing solely on crafting refined pieces.
