In 2020, the company relaunched its fabric development program, investing millions in creating new and unique fabric varieties, with a focus on distinctive domestic original designs (due to frequent malicious copying by competitors, design complexity has increased, and the colored series primarily focuses on heavyweight fabrics – please respect originality).Following the earlier "Blue Chroma," "Yellow Chroma," and colored plied yarn series, we exclusively developed the "Heather Hemp" series for the premium line SAUCE ORIGIN.It combines high-quality domestic long-staple cotton with 13% French linen.The fabric uses high-twist yarns with a twist level far exceeding that of conventional selvedge denim.Weighing in at 19oz, the fabric does not feel excessively thick due to the fine yarn count — a unique texture achieved through high-density weaving.As a fade-developed fabric, it will gradually lose color with wear and experience slight shrinkage (despite pre-shrinking), which is normal. Beginners, please take note.
The high-tension twisted yarns combined with extra-deep indigo dyeing give the fabric a near-black appearance before fading, though it is actually a deep blue. Due to the high twist of the yarn, even after numerous dyeing cycles, the cotton core remains clean and snow-white (as shown in the image above). With wear, the indigo gradually fades through friction, revealing the exceptionally white inner core of the yarn, resulting in a striking, high-contrast fading effect.
Crafted using selvedge denim from antique imported looms,this fabric combines uniquely designed high-twist yarns with a 13% hemp blend.Even after pre-shrinking, it retains ample surface fuzziness, enhancing its overall vintage and nostalgic character.To ensure wearing comfort,we applied a secondary process that includes not only pre-shrinking to minimize shrinkage but also back singeing to soften the stiffness of the hemp fibers—preventing any prickling sensation during wear and ensuring a comfortable experience.

To achieve a more harmonious and outstanding overall design,I produced a small batch of antique silver rivets to accentuate the denim.The antique silver plating is applied over a red copper base, and the process requires real silver,making these rivets significantly more expensive than conventional red copper ones.
Details make the difference.This time, we selected our self-produced and designed high-cost "Pepper & Salt" selvedge fabric for the pocket bags (the pocket bag thickness is not as heavy as those used in our jackets).It is also selvedge denim woven on antique looms.Due to cutting constraints, the selvedge edge cannot be retained on the pocket bags.To prevent uneven shrinkage between the pocket bags and the main fabric during washing,the pocket bags were specially pre-washed before being sewn in — adding multiple steps to the process.
