This is a reproduction of a classic denim design.We have incorporated insights from our 13 years of denim production experience,making adjustments and improvements while maintaining high fidelity to the original.The craftmanship is far superior to that of 1960s garments.The fabric uses our self-developed 14.5oz rainbow yarn selvedge denim woven on antique looms-a fade-developed style that will age and fade with wear.The fit is relaxed, offering a comfortable silgouette that is neither restrictive nor overly loose.
One of the most interesting details of this classic model is the deep,functional bellows pleat on the back.To prevent the pleat from bulging or failing to lay flat when worn,SAUCEZHAN has integrated an elastic band at the inner seam where the pleat meets the back yoke.This design stays highly true to the original while ensuring a comfortable fit, allowing generous freedom of movement for both the arms and back.
SAUCEZHAN's original design features 14.5oz selvedge fabric with a purple-toned rainbow gradient yarn used as the selvedgr ID.The inner weft is color-gradient,creating a visually striking effect.This model is designed for fading-made from raw,unwashed fabric that has been pre-shrunk,resulting in minimal shrinkage compared to completely unsanforized denim.De-sizing is required before beginning the fading process.With wear,the fabric will gradually fade,developing unique patterns and texture that improve with age-the more worn,the better it looks.
The jacket primarily features snap buttons combined with a zipper design,which differs from conventional denim jacket styles,giving it a very distinct character.The snap buttons and zipper are custom-made by YKK,ensuring high quality.The black-toned hardware,paired with a dark cowhide leather patch and silver zipper,creates a harmonious and enduring aesthetic.
Produced in our own factory, the craftsmanship is refined with precise stitching. The sleeve seams feature full chain-stitching for durability and a clean finish.
