Due to the ribbed material being made entirely of high-cost wool, theoretically, wool garments should not be machine-washed and require dry cleaning. However, if the garment becomes soiled and dry cleaning is inconvenient, it can be soaked in cold water with detergent in a basin, gently pressed (avoid vigorous rubbing), and must not be machine-washed to prevent friction. The denim part is made with reactive-dyed selvedge fabric, which barely fades, so color transfer is not a concern.

Note: The fabric is raw selvedge denim produced on antique looms. This unwashed raw fabric may experience slight shrinkage if soaked or laundered

THE A1 flight jacket is the originator of classic flight jackets.SAUCEZHAN's A1 is a highly accurate reproduction of the denim A1 flight jacket,with every detail and material choice carefully crafted to better represent the authentic look of the military flight jacket.
The denim fabric uses a reactive dyeing process,specifically chosen to prevent color bleeding during cleaning-unlike indigo-fabrics.This specially prepared reactive-dyed fabric is virtually fade-resistant,with a rich,deep black tone.It is a 13.5oz unsanforized selvedge denim woven on antique looms,featuring a black selvedge ID.The ribbing material is custom-made 100% wool seamless ribbing,the same as used in our leather jackets.The cost of this ribbing is exceptionally high.It is used in three parts of the garment:the collar,hem, and cuffs.
The snap buttons on the hem are highly faithful to the original in terms of size,texture,and color.The buttons on the front are custom-molded horn buttons made to original specifications.Every material used in this jacket-from the main fabric to the accessories-is carefully selected high-quality material,mostly custom-made for production. It is a beautifully crafted A1 jacket,and we hope everyone likes it.
