Many fans have expressed a desire for a black denim piece—specifically, a double-dyed black denim with a black core, similar to an "iron heart" style. Taking everyone's feedback and expectations into account, this year we've developed a beautiful black denim fabric with high density and a very tight weave. It's a 16oz heavyweight selvedge denim produced on old-style antique looms. The fit is a mid-high rise straight cut, slightly tapered to flatter the figure while remaining comfortable and not too tight—similar to the well-received new version of our washed white denim. So, what do you think of this "Black Warrior"?
Fabric Section:Although the fabric is 16oz, it has an extremely high density, making it very tight and sturdy. It feels substantial to the touch, comparable to an 18oz fabric. Due to the high density and hardness, needle breakage was frequent during production, resulting in significant material loss. The factory technicians repeatedly complained, as it was even more challenging to work with than the heavyweight 21oz fabric in our store.The black denim fabric has a beautiful texture, but one drawback is that due to its dark color, it tends to attract lint. This is inherent to the color and not a product flaw. After all, it is made of 100% cotton, a natural material, not a technical fabric. Pet owners should take note.Additionally, since the sulfur black dyeing allows for fading over time, it is a fade-developed denim fabric. Veteran denim enthusiasts will understand, but new friends should be aware: sulfur dyeing may have a distinct smell similar to sulfur or gunpowder, which is completely normal. The odor will gradually fade after de-sizing and with wear.Sulfur black dyeing is a process suitable for fade-developed denim. Odor-free reactive dyeing cannot achieve the same fading effects and is more suited for casual pants. Therefore, for retro-style Americana enthusiasts, sulfur black-dyed black denim is an excellent choice for a fadeable black jeans option.The fabric has been pre-shunk, so the shrinkage rate is relatively low compared to raw denim.You can select your regular size.Just avoid a tight fit before the first wash.
Leather Patch Section:The leather patch is crafted from full-grain cowhide,featuring a completely new design that integrates seamlessly with the dark,subdued style of the "Black Warrior,"reaulting in a low-key yet enduring appeal.The patch is designed with a middle slot, allowing a belt to pass through it without obscuring its appearance.
Hardware Section:The buttons and rivets are made of solid brass,offering a substantial and heavy-duty feel.They feature an electroplated bronze-red finish with a metallic sheen.To maintain color consistency, this model uses a brand new set of bronze-red electroplated donut-shaped rivets,which are exceptionally attractive.The YKK zipper fly design enhances durability and convenience.
Note:Due to the exceptionally high density and stiffness of this fabric,during the pre-shrinking process in finishing,the machine rollers may compress the fabric and leave marks,known as roller marks.These marks will disappear after de-sizing or washing once the fabric softens,This is not a quality issue and requires no concern.
