This year,SAUCEZHAN responds to fans' requests with this Snake Year commemorative edition, themed around the beautiful serpent spirit "Bai Suzhen,"reinterpreted in a cartoon style.The design mcaptures her enhanting and captivating allure.Since Bai Suzhen is a white snake,white wasn't suitable as the primary theme for jeans design.Instead,we adopted the green theme of"Xiao Qing"(Bai Suzhen's sister),which also aligns more closely with the color commonly associated with snakes in the puiblic imagination.The zodiac series began in 2021 with the Year of the Tiger, and each year features a unique design! From concept development to fabric selection,every aspect is custom-designed! From concept development to fabric selection, every aspect is custom-designed and custom-dyed in-house.Notably,the Snake Year Limited Edition incorporates a two-tone overdyed leather patch with a vivid illustration of the serpent spirit Bai Suzhen,highlighting the special significance of the Year of the Snake.Responding to feedback fom our fans, SAUCEZHAN's self-developed fabric for this heavyweight edition features a bold slub yarn texture and combines with the Snake Year's green theme.Custom green selvedge id and lightly freen-dyed weft yarns echo the Year of the Snake motif.
White Snake Bai Suzhen Ultra-Heavyweight Special Edition.This is a new style launched in December 2024.Unlike the slightly stretchy one-wash versions of the zodiac series,this is an unwashed ultra-heavy weight raw denim model.The fabric has been pre-shrunk,so shrinkage will be minimal-just leave a little room before soaking.With a weight of up to 20oz,this is an extremely stiff and heavy pair of raw denim jeans.It is made from old-fashioned antique shuttle loom selvedge fabric and premium long-staple cotton.
The self-developed custom fabric incorporates the Year of the Snake green theme,not only using warp and weft slub yarn design but also featuring a bold.coarse texture with a substantial handfeel.The warp is dyed in extra-deep indigo,while the weft is lightly tinted with a subtle layer of green to align with the theme.Because the slub yarn has large gaps between particles,if the green were too intense,it would affect the overall color of the jeans' front side.Therefore,the weft's green dye is applied as afaint layer,ensuring it does not compromise the front appearance-the actual product is exceptionally visually striking.
The fit is the store's classic 308XX 66 Model.It features a mid-high rise and a slim-tapered leg that narrows slightly toward the calf. Heavyweight raw denim differs significantly from regular jeans-it is extremely stiff and requires an initial soak before wear.Over time, it will gradually fade and develop unique,personalized patterns.Customers interested in this style should familiarize theselves with raw denim care before making a purchase.
To align with the Year of the Snake theme,the hardware details feature a verdigris-aged brass finish.The rust-effect antiquing is meticulously crafted to mimic genuine patina,and no protective coating is applied,allowing the brass hardware to continue aging and oxidizing naturally with wear.As the hardware lacks a protective layer,slight transfer of the blue-green verdigris color due to friction is normal.Please be aware of this characteristic.
The brass rivet details are consistently accented with a bronze rust-effect aging treatment,delivering a premium textured feel.
The heavyweight version features a leather patch stitched at both the top and bottom edges,allowing a belt to be threaded through it.
